Being resourceful & creative during this time is a Being resourceful & creative during this time is a must! 💕 I encourage everyone to appreciate the little things right now and let them inspire you, like these beautiful colors I see on my walks... a blue sky... the warm sun... the smell of freshly cake cookies... getting the brownie corner piece... warm blankets... clean sheets... the name “mom” “dad” etc that still pops up on your phone when they call... the sound of rain.. the sound of opening a can when thirsty... having a meaningful conversation... the smell of freshly baked bread.... driving with your windows down with your favorite song on... running through a sprinkler... a relaxing shower or bath after a long day ....a gorgeous sunset .... dancing without a care in the world... making the yellow light at an intersection... having a good laugh ... hot towels out of the dryer... laying on a cool pillow at the end of the day... the feeling after a good run or tough workout... how dogs are always happy to see you... a good cry .... a parking space when you are desperate... picking up a loved one at the airport... cream on dry skin... holding hands... 💕 “Enjoy the little things in life because one day you’ll look back and realize they were the big things” — Kurt Vonnegut Jr. 💕 What are some of the little things you love in life?!

Originally, I had 3 destination weddings set for t Originally, I had 3 destination weddings set for this year!! 💕💜 no worries though, can’t wait to celebrate locally this year with my destination brides! 💜 Here is today’s destination wedding lesson: 7 THINGS TO CONSIDER WHEN PLANNING A DESTINATION WEDDING 👇🏽 1. Choose a meaningful location — but remember, choose a place with plenty of accommodations and transportation for guests. ✈️ 2. Hire a planner — this is not even biased, love. Save yourself the logistical nightmare of the language barrier, questions , time zone difference and overall dysfunction that comes from not hiring an expert for this endeavor. ✈️ 3. Consider your guests — get hotel room blocks in a reasonably affordable hotel, and have options. List on your wedding website a few options with multiple price ranges for them to choose from that appeal to all budgets. ✈️ 4. Visit in advance— this is essential for peace of mind, and for finalizing details like catering etc ✈️ 5. Tailor your wedding dress to the destination — an embellished ball gown in France would be perfect, while a lightweight lace dress would be beautiful in Mexico ✈️ 6. NEVER CHECK YOUR DRESS! .... neverrrrrrrrrr (even if you have to fold it). You can press it after. ✈️ 7. Notify your guests well in advance so they can save and afford the trip out there to celebrate with you.

As promised, everyday of the quarantine I am going to give a lesson on wedding/event planning and design! 🐶 🐶 Today’s lesson is: HOW TO DECIDE IF YOU SHOULD INCLUDE YOUR PUPPY ON YOUR WEDDING DAY. 🐶 I hear this question all of the time and would love to help you come to your own answer ☺️ 👇🏼 You may be thinking, hmm maybe I should just leave the dog home and save the hassle. Those are valid thoughts because having your dog there presents several challenges... here are some things to consider before deciding if you should include your pup in the wedding:1. Make sure your ceremony and reception venue are dog friendly — do they allow pets and are these lots of grassy areas around the venue? 💕 2. Ask yourself— does your pet behave well in new environments? ...How about around large groups of people? 💕 3. Are there other animals around your venue that your pet may like to chase/eat? 💕 4. Is one of your guests willing to take care of your pet during the day? Or do you want to hire a pet attendant during the wedding? Yes, it’s a thing. 💕 5. Is your wedding venue within a 1-2 hour drive or less from your house? 💕💕💕 IF YOU ANSWERED “NO” to any of the above questions, having your pet attend your wedding isn’t a practical idea BUT there are many other ways to include them —- see my future posts for more!

Hi loves! 🙌🏽 I’ve decided to teach everyon Hi loves! 🙌🏽 I’ve decided to teach everyone something each day of the quarantine about wedding planning, event planning or design! 💕 Today’s lesson is: “How Not to Panic on Your Wedding Day”.... 💕 lol a funny lesson but necessary because it is easy to become overwhelmed with all of the texts & questions you’ll receive that day, the wedding party running in and out of your hotel/bridal suite, and your mother-in-law complaining about her hair & makeup...etc etc 💕 Here is how to stay sane on the day of: 💛 1. EAT BREAKFAST.... even if you are not hungry, and stay hydrated. Even a small healthy snack will put you in a more positive state, resulting in more energy and less stress. 💛 2. MANIFEST IT! whether you have to get your hands on a crystal on the day of your wedding, or if you need to state your intentions out loud for the day, while expressing gratitude, it will make you feel so much better 💛 3. LET IT OUT — inhale and exhale loudly if you need to... I don’t suggest screaming while your MUA is in the other room 😂 but letting out big sighs works 💛 4. AROMATHERAPY — it will melt the stress away. You can simply apply essential oils to the palm of your hands, rub them together to warm, and cuff your hands over your nose and mouth & take a deep breath. Lavender, chamomile, and orange are my favorites for stress relief 💛 5. PRAY — and you will be at peace.
